Our Rep will pick you up from your hotel in El Quseir by air-conditioned bus to Hurghada domestic airport for your flight to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, head to the Plateau of Giza for the chance to see the stunning Great Pyramids and mystical sphinx. The last remaining wonders of the ancient world, the pyramids are said to be constructed from millions of blocks of limestone and have stood on this site for nearly 5000 years. Your experience will be enhanced by your expert guide who will provide a fascinating insight to the history of this magical site.

Whilst admiring these ancient treasures, look out for the bewitching figure of the Sphinx. Carved from a single block of limestone, the half-human, half-lion statue stands guard over the tombs. After lunch, continue to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to the world"s finest collection of Egyptian artefacts. The highlight is undoubtedly the golden haul from the Tomb of Tutankhamun including the world famous solid gold funerary mask. Also, look out for the huge statues of the pharaohs and the gods they worshipped, scrolls of ancient papyrus, coffins inlaid with semi-precious stones and ancient mummified remains. Then you will a visit to visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the hanging church or the suspended church this basilica church was named for its location on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon the church became the center of the Christian Church of Egypt. Before your return flight to Hurghada, head to the lively Khan-el-Khalili famous bazaar, to soak up the sounds, smells and atmosphere Cairo"s oldest street market. Good buys include handmade gifts, leather goods, spices and Egyptian fabrics. You may also attend the sound and light show at the Pyramids in Cairo as an optional tour, or you may take a Nile cruise dinner with belly dance show. Head to Cairo airport to fly back to Hurghada where our REP will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in El Quseir.

Comal White Water or More Blue Green

White Water on the Comal River in Central Texas is more of toobers paradise than a rafter or kayaker"s dreamland, but for a fun and relaxing family adventure; I highly recommend the trip. For the second time in as many years my family and I spent a few days partaking of fun, water and sun in and around New Braunfels, Texas on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers. Day one was spent on the Comal floating gently down the lazy 72 degree water from Prince Solms Park to the Rockin R take out. I have always rented tubes from Rockin R for as long as I can remember Rockin R claims to have been established in 1979, so maybe that first time I went to Camp Warneke it wasn"t called Rockin R, but it sure seems it was on the same corner. Though Camp Warneke is no longer, the signs along the river still point to a simpler time when multi-million dollar water parks didn"t dominate the landscape of New Braunfels.
