First you will be boarding the ferry from the ferry building where you will get a view on Alcatraz, Angel Island, bay bridge and of course the beautiful golden bridge. Alcatraz is an island which is famous for the prison. Generally the worst criminals are sent here for breaking rocks. Angel Island is one of the largest islands in San Francisco where you can hike and trek. You can even see Alcatraz from this island. The bay bridge was opened a few months earlier than Golden Gate Bridge. This bridge acts as a median to Yerba Buena Island which separates two segments.ч This is a double suspension bridge which has 5 lanes on either side.
Next is the Golden Gate Bridge which is another beautiful sight to watch. The merit of this bridge is it can withstand all kind of nature disaster like earthquakes and tsunami. After this bridge the ferry will drop you at Sausalito a small town situated on north of golden gate bridge. From here you will be catching a shuttle which will proceed toward the city. There are many places to visit but the most famous places are the Lombard Street (the crooked street), Alamo Square (Victorian houses of 7 sisters), Golden Gate Park and Place of fine arts.ч ч
Then you will be taken to the popular Muir woods where you would be spending more time. You can also explore the woods and then move towards Muir beach which has a wonderful view of California coastline.
